Gina DaCruz has a diverse work experience spanning several fields. Gina is currently the Director of Development and Communications at WEEMA International, where they have been actively involved since its establishment in 2011. Additionally, they serve as a Board Member and Secretary for the organization.

Gina is also an independent artist, specializing in social justice art. Gina has participated in various local art exhibitions and showcases their work on their Instagram page, @dacruzmixedmediaart.

In terms of community involvement, Gina has been a community activist for Neighbor2Neighbor, Worcester Chapter, participating in phone banking, door-to-door canvassing, and various political and social justice campaigns.

Gina's previous experience includes working as an Assistant Preschool Teacher at St. Peter Central Catholic, where they collaborated with the preschool team teachers, developed new art experiences for the children, and utilized their mental health training to teach young children about emotions.

Earlier in their career, Gina worked as a Therapist at Wayside Youth & Family Support Network and as a Bilingual Mental Health Clinician at Advocates Community Counseling.

Gina DaCruz earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Assumption University in 1991. Gina then went on to obtain a Master's degree in Sociology- Family Research from the University of New Hampshire from 1991 to 1993. Following that, Gina completed another Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where they studied from 1993 to 1995.
