Shlomi Funk

Shlomi Funk has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Shlomi is currently serving as the Vice President of Strategic Partnerships at Weezmo since March 2023. Prior to this, from 2022 to 2023, they were the Vice President of Sales & Business Development at Algoretail. From 2021 to 2022, they worked as the Head of International Sales at ciValue.

Before that, Shlomi held the position of Senior Director of Business Development at Gilat Satellite Networks from 2018 to 2020. In this role, they were responsible for new marketing initiatives, researching potential opportunities, and developing satellite communication technology.

From 2015 to 2018, Shlomi served as the Vice President of Retail Business Development at Wincor Nixdorf, where they led the Retail Service Station International (SSI) Business Development and Global Accounts, achieving a record year of $110M in 2017.

Shlomi's work experience further includes a long tenure at NCR Retail/Retalix, where they held the position of VP International Sales. During their time there, they managed the Retalix APAC business unit, developed and managed the Retalix Petroleum & Convenience Global sales team, and contributed to the company's impressive revenue and employee count.

Shlomi Funk completed their Bachelor's degree in Economics from Tel Aviv University between 1990 and 1993. Following that, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Tel Aviv University between 1993 and 1997, specializing in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services.
