Anna Witteveen

Anna Witteveen has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Anna started their career in 2011 as an Economics and Trade Department Trainee at the Royal Netherlands Embassy in Buenos Aires. Anna then worked as a Project Management Trainee at the Strategy and Innovation Department of Barcelona Port Authority in 2013. In 2014, Anna worked as a Junior Project Manager at Bax & Willems Consulting Venturing, where they managed European Union funded projects and developed business plans in the fields of Water Management and Energy Efficiency. Later that year, they became the Community and Content Manager at JustFab Inc., responsible for social media management and content creation.

In 2015, Anna took on the role of Consular Officer at the Royal Netherlands Consulate in Barcelona, where they managed various consular matters and assisted Dutch citizens in need. Anna then transitioned to TransPerfect, working as a Project Manager, overseeing the management and coordination of language projects.

Anna's next career move was to Atabix Solutions in 2017, where they served as a Product Manager and Lead of the Barcelona Hub. In this role, they were responsible for product planning and delivery, as well as setting up the infrastructure for the branch and ensuring the team's success.

In 2019, Anna joined i-surance AG as the Head of Implementation, leading a team responsible for successful project and product implementation. Anna then moved on to become the Head of Product & Engineering Department, where they defined and implemented technical solutions and enhancements for the digital product. Anna eventually became the Head of Product, overseeing a team of product owners and managers.

In 2022, Anna joined bolttech as the Product Lead Barcelona Hub. Anna was responsible for the operations and success of the Barcelona Hub and played a key role in the acquisition of i-surance AG. Currently, Anna is working as a Senior Product Manager at wefox.

Anna Witteveen's education history begins with their secondary education at St. Ignatius Gymnasium, where they obtained their Gymnasium Diploma from 1998 to 2004. Anna then pursued their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in European Studies at Maastricht University from 2006 to 2009. During their time at Maastricht University, they also participated in the Erasmus Student Exchange Program at the University of Valencia from 2008 to 2009, focusing on Political Science.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Anna Witteveen enrolled at the University of Valencia, where they earned two degrees. From 2009 to 2012, they pursued a Law degree, specializing in International Public/Private Law. Simultaneously, they pursued an MSc degree in Internacionalización Económica: Comercio e Integración (International Economics and Business).

In 2012, Anna Witteveen continued their education by pursuing an LL.M. (Master of Laws) in International Economic Law and Policy at the Universitat de Barcelona, specializing in International Business and Trade Law. Anna completed their LL.M. program in 2013.

Additionally, Anna Witteveen obtained a certification in Developing Emerging Leaders from INSEAD Executive Education in January 2022.
