Greg Shumavon

Greg Shumavon has over 25 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Greg is currently serving as the VP Product - Insurance Platform at wefox since April 2021. Prior to this, Greg was the Managing Partner at Withrow Consulting LLC from June 2018 to April 2021, where they founded a management consulting practice focused on providing strategic planning for start-up and scale-up executives in technology, retail, and management consulting industries.

From February 2012 to June 2018, Greg worked at The Standard as the Senior Director of Product, where they led the development and management of an insurance product offering for executives and medical professionals. Greg'sfunctional oversight included sales, marketing, technology, operations, and underwriting.

Previously, Greg held the position of Senior Director - Private Equity Asset Management at J.P. Morgan from February 2008 to June 2009. Greg also worked at Intel as the Marketing and Business Planning Manager from May 2005 to September 2007, where they managed a global cross-functional staff responsible for strategic planning, analysis, and budget management for CPU pricing and marketing programs.

Greg's early experience includes their role as Managing Director at Bear Stearns & Co. (JPMorgan Chase, Hambrecht & Quist) from 1996 to 2002. During this time, they built and sold an independent investment management practice, managing 250 high net worth clients and overseeing $1.2 billion in assets under management.

Greg Shumavon completed their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Entrepreneurship from the University of Southern California. Greg attended the university from 1992 to 1996. Later on, Greg pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Finance and Strategy at the Tepper School of Business, Carnegie Mellon University, from 2003 to 2005.
