Mark MacArdle

Mark MacArdle is an experienced Data Engineer with a diverse work history. Mark is currently working at wefox as a Data Engineer. Prior to that, they worked at ManyPets from 2019 to 2022, where they played a pivotal role as the first member of the company's Data Team. In this role, they led the development of the data architecture and implemented the company's data warehouse with BigQuery on Google Cloud Platform.

Before ManyPets, Mark worked at Jaguar Land Rover, first as a Manufacturing Engineer from 2013 to 2018, and then as a Data Analyst from 2018 to 2019. Their responsibilities included data analysis and manufacturing engineering.

Earlier in their career, Mark worked at Caragh Precision as a Design Technician from 2012 to 2013, and at the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland as a Research Assistant in 2011. their expertise in data engineering and analytics.

Mark MacArdle obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing and Design Engineering from Technological University Dublin, studying from 2007 to 2011. In 2018, they completed a Data Analyst Nanodegree at Udacity. Currently, Mark is pursuing a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science at the Georgia Institute of Technology, which they began in 2021 and is expected to complete in 2024.

In addition to their formal education, Mark has also obtained several certifications. In 2013, they became a Certified SolidWorks Professional (CSWP) through Dassault Systèmes. In 2014, they completed training in Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) from SEIZE A SOLUTION LIMITED. In 2015, Mark earned a Six Sigma Green Belt from the University of Bradford.
