Peter Vida

Peter Vida has a diverse work experience spanning across multiple companies. Peter currently works at wefox as a Product Manager, where they hold the roles of Product Manager for Customer Applications and Product Manager for the Insurance Platform. Prior to their role at wefox, they were a Product Owner for Salesforce. Before joining wefox, Peter worked at ABB as a Staff IT Product Manager, specifically in the areas of Global Pricing and EMEA Product Configurators. Peter also gained experience at GE Energy Management as an IT Program Manager, focusing on Global Pricing. Prior to that, Peter worked at GE Energy as an IT Project Manager for Inquiry to Order Business Solutions. Their career started at GE Home & Business Solutions, where they participated in the Information Technology Leadership Program, completing rotations in various IT functions, including ERP Solution Delivery, IT Finance, IT Supply Chain, and IT Commercial. Peter also worked as a Financial Analyst at GE Consumer and Industrial.

Peter Vida completed their education in a variety of fields over the years. In 2002, they attended Debreceni Egyetem and pursued a Masters in Economics and Business Administration, with a specialization in Management Information Systems. Peter studied there until 2007. Additionally, in 2005, they briefly attended the University of Lueneburg, where they obtained a Masters degree in Economics with a focus on German studies.

Later on, in 2016, Peter enrolled in freeCodeCamp and successfully obtained a Full Stack Web Development Certification in Computer Software Engineering, completing the program in 2017.

In terms of additional certifications, Peter Vida has undertaken several courses to enhance their skill set. In July 2010, they acquired the Six Sigma - Green Belt certification from Six Sigma. Peter later pursued professional development through LinkedIn, obtaining the certificate for Jodi Glickman on Pitching Yourself in October 2020.
