Steven van Helden

Steven van Helden is a Senior Consultant at wega Informatik AG since June 2023, bringing extensive experience in high-throughput screening (HTS) and technology management. Previously, Steven served as Chief Technology Officer at the Pivot Park Screening Centre from January 2012 to April 2023, where responsibilities included overseeing screening operations, lab automation, and technology strategy, as well as leading HTS efforts for the European Lead Factory consortium. Steven founded the Pivot Park Screening Centre, secured significant European funding, and implemented a project-driven organization. Prior to this role, Steven held senior positions at Merck Sharp & Dohme and Organon, focusing on optimizing HTS workflows and technology advancements in molecular pharmacology. Steven began a career in academia with a PhD from Utrecht University, specializing in molecular modeling.
