Shanti is a seasoned entrepreneur and operator with more than 20 years of experience building innovative, fast-growth organizations.

She is the founder of NAVEX Global, the world’s largest ethics and compliance software and services company. Under Shanti’s leadership, NAVEX grew from less than $5 million in revenues to more than $200 million, becoming one of the most recognized brands in governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) and exceeding a billion dollar valuation.

Shanti actively serves on multiple company boards, primarily focused on software and tech-enabled services. She has deep experience working with both entrepreneurs and investors, with a focus on strategic planning, sales, and marketing, M&A strategy, product development, and thought leadership.

Shanti has unique expertise in building and investing in disruptive technologies that transform the way we think, communicate, and behave in the workplace. She has a passion for helping good companies become great, with an established track record of maximizing enterprise value and providing superior returns to investors.

Shanti’s experience in GRC lends additional value to her board work, given the increasing importance of ethics and risk management on business performance. Shanti received her Masters of Law (LL.M.) from Harvard University, where she was a Viscount Bennett Fellow and served on the Harvard Negotiation Law Review. Shanti received her J.D. and her B.A. (Film) from Queen’s University (Canada) where she was a Queen’s National Scholar.
