David Luz

Service Team Lead at Wegmans Food Markets

David Luz started their work experience in 2013 at Sodexo as a Team Leader, where they ran the day to day operations of a food establishment, ordered products, developed the team, and provided customer service. In 2014, they joined Wegmans Food Markets as a Pizza Customer Service employee, where they cooked pizzas, made dough, and managed the department. David then transitioned to a Sub Shop Customer Service position, baking bread, slicing meats, and handling opening and closing responsibilities. In 2018, David became a Customer Service Team Lead at Wegmans, where they were responsible for developing others, coaching, team building, and scheduling over 100 employees. From January 2020, they also took on the role of Night Manager.

David Luz attended Nashoba Valley Technical High School from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a High School Diploma with a focus on Carpentry/Carpenter. David then went on to attend Fitchburg State University from 2013 to 2016, studying Business Administration and Management, General.
