Claire Boetticher has a diverse work experience, starting with a role as an Analyst at Corporate Executive Board in 2001. Claire then moved to the University of Texas at Austin in 2005, where they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Walter Geology Library and the Benson Latin American Collection. In the same year, they also worked as a Freelance Journalist at KUT Radio. In 2007, they returned to the University of Texas at Austin as a Graduate Research Assistant. Claire then moved to ExxonMobil in 2009, where they worked as a Data Scientist, Analyst, and Research Analyst. In 2021, they began working at DataRobot as a Senior Data Scientist and Data Scientist. Claire is currently employed at Weights & Biases as a Machine Learning Engineer.
Claire Boetticher has a diverse educational background. Claire obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Political Science from Wake Forest University between 1997 and 2001. Claire then went on to obtain a Master of Arts (MA) in Latin American Studies from The University of Texas at Austin between 2004 and 2006. Claire followed this with a Master of Science (MS) in Information Science/Studies from The University of Texas at Austin between 2007 and 2009. Most recently, they obtained a Master of Science - MS in Data Science from Northwestern University between 2018 and 2021. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in MIT - Tackling the Challenges of Big Data in April 2014 and Statistics: Making Sense of Data from Coursera in May 2013.
