James Crook

James Crook is a Counsel at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP since September 2009, specializing in structured finance and securitisation. James's expertise includes advising financial institutions, private equity sponsors, and hedge funds on diverse transactions such as performing and non-performing portfolio acquisitions, RMBS, CLOs, OTC derivatives, and esoteric asset classes. Additionally, James has contributed to various domestic and international equity and debt capital markets transactions as part of a team, serving issuers and underwriters across multiple industries. Prior experience includes roles as an Associate and Trainee Associate at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, as well as secondee positions at Sixth Street and Deutsche Bank.
