Dawn Moakes

Dawn Moakes has extensive work experience in the legal and compliance field. Dawn began their career at HSBC in 2017 as a Transaction Manager and Legal secondment. In 2019, they joined WeLab as the Group Legal Counsel, and later served as the Legal Counsel and Compliance Officer of WeLend. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Legal and Compliance for WeLend at WeLab. Prior to their time at WeLab, Dawn worked at Allen & Overy as a Registered Foreign Lawyer (England & Wales) and also completed their training there as a Trainee Solicitor. Dawn'stime at Allen & Overy spanned from 2012 to 2018.

Dawn Moakes attended the Chinese International School in Hong Kong from 1993 to 2007, where they completed the International Baccalaureate program. Later, they enrolled at UCL and pursued an LLB degree in Law from 2007 to 2010.
