Melanie Sorensen

Melanie Sorensen has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Melanie currently works as an Engagement Coordinator at WelbeHealth, a position they have held since August 2021. Prior to this, Melanie worked at Chandler Convalescent Hospital where they held two roles. From February 2020 to August 2021, they served as an Activity Assistant, assisting with planning and implementing activities for nursing home residents. Melanie also worked as a nursing home receptionist, handling administrative tasks and patient interactions. Additionally, Melanie served as an Admissions Coordinator at the same hospital from June 2020 to July 2020.

Before joining Chandler Convalescent Hospital, Melanie worked as a Caregiver at Home Care Assistance from January 2020 to July 2020, providing personal care and assisting with household tasks. In 2019, they worked as a Co Manager at YM Group of Companies, overseeing store operations and managing the sales team. Prior to that, Melanie had a brief stint as a Sales Specialist at Glendale Hyundai.

Melanie also has experience in the healthcare sector, having worked as a Caregiver at Superior Home Care from July 2019 to August 2019, and as a Receptionist at Glen Park Assisted Living from May 2019 to July 2019.

Earlier in their career, Melanie worked at Sykes Assistance Services Corporation from 2016 to 2018. Melanie held various roles including Customer Service Agent for Verizon and AT&T, as well as Administrative Assistant to the Director.

Finally, in 2015, Melanie worked as an Educator at 51Talk Philippines and as the Director of Client Services at Twassistant, where they supported administrative staff and provided customer support.

Melanie Sorensen obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Psychology from Far Eastern University, where they attended from 1984 to 1988. In addition to their degree, Melanie also holds several certifications. In June 2020, they completed the Activity Leader Training Course at the Senior Care Training Center. In August 2019, they obtained a certification as a Motor Vehicle Salesperson from Hyundai Motor America. Most recently, in December 2022, Melanie completed the Safety Precaution & Fall Prevention certification at CareAcademy.
