Ruben Olivas has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of product management and business administration within the heavy machinery industry. Ruben is currently serving as the General Manager for Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean at Tadano America Corporation since January 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of General Manager for Mexico at the same company from December 2018 to February 2022.

Before joining Tadano, Ruben worked for Welbilt Inc. starting in July 2014 as the Global Product Management Director in the Foodservice Division. In this role, they focused on developing products to enter new markets and managed new product launches.

Ruben's career at The Manitowoc Company started in 2001, where they served as the Regional Business Manager for Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean. In this role, they managed dealers and business administration for Grove / Manitowoc / National Crane brands. Before that, from 2001 to 2005, they held the position of Regional Business Manager for Potain Tower Cranes in the Latin American market.

Ruben began their career in 1996 at Ameco as the Crane Sales Manager, where they played a key role in developing the crane market, creating and maintaining a rental fleet, and training a team of crane salespeople.

Ruben Olivas attended the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León from 1992 to 1994, where they pursued a degree in Control Systems Engineering. In terms of additional certifications, Ruben obtained a DFSS Red Belt Certification from The Manitowoc Company in 2007.
