Svetlana Shlensky, CPA, CGA has a solid work experience in the finance and auditing field. Svetlana started their career in 2005 as an Auditor at PRGX and then moved on to become a Senior Internal Auditor at Royal Building Products, a Westlake Company in 2006. Svetlana worked in this role for three years before being promoted to Controller in 2009. Svetlana remained as the Controller until 2017. In the same year, they joined Welbilt Inc. as the Controller for the Canada Region. Svetlana held this position for five years before being promoted to Director of Finance in September 2022. Currently, they continue to work in this position at Welbilt Inc.

Svetlana Shlensky, CPA, CGA has a strong educational background in accounting. Svetlana obtained their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) and Professional Engineer degree from Rīgas Tehniskā universitāte (Riga Technical University) between 1988 and 1993. In 2003 to 2005, they attended York University, where they focused on accounting studies. Svetlana further pursued their education at Certified General Accountants of Ontario from 2006 to 2009, earning the designation of Certified General Accountant.

In terms of additional certifications, Svetlana Shlensky obtained their Certified General Accountant designation from CGA-Canada (Certified General Accountants Association of Canada) in August 2008. Svetlana later obtained the Certified Professional Accountant certification from Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario (CPA Ontario) in July 2014.
