Kraig Bergner

Kraig Bergner has extensive work experience in the field of safety and security. Kraig is currently serving as the Director of Safety and Security at the Weld RE-4 School District since June 2023. Prior to this, they worked in various roles in the US Army. From July 2022 to June 2023, they served as an Assistant Professor of Military Science. Before that, they were a Training Officer, Division Anti-terrorism Officer, and a Company Commander, leading a headquarters unit of 70+ leaders in providing operational capabilities. Kraig also served as an Operations Officer, Physical Security Officer, and Anti-terrorism Officer from August 2018 to June 2020. Earlier in their career, from July 2016 to December 2017, they were the Special Reaction Team Officer in Charge, and from March 2014 to July 2016, they served as a Platoon Leader and Watch Commander.

Kraig Bergner has a diverse education history spanning several years. In 2010 to 2013, they attended Colorado State University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry. Following this, in 2014 to 2018, Kraig studied at FEMA, specializing in the Incident Command System. Kraig completed various courses such as IS 100b, 100le, 200b, 300, 400, 700, and 800. In 2018, they attended Webster University for a brief period, earning a Master of Arts degree in Business and Organizational Security Management. Most recently, from 2022 to 2023, Kraig pursued further education at Harvard Business School Online, focusing on Business Economics, Analytics, and Accounting, and obtained a Credential of Readiness.
