Emil Wittrup Præstbrogaard has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Emil Wittrup started their career as a Private in the Danish military from February to June 2011. Emil Wittrup then worked as a Junior Analyst at Danske Bank from October 2013 to April 2015.
In 2015, Emil joined Aarhus BSS - Aarhus University as a Teaching Assistant in qualitative methods. Their responsibilities included instructing and supervising students in three classes, advising them on designing and carrying out qualitative studies. Emil Wittrup also participated in preparation meetings with lecturers and instructors.
From 2013 to 2017, Emil worked at Mercuri Urval, initially as a Junior Consultant and later as a Mentor. As a Junior Consultant, they designed, conducted, analyzed, and presented an in-depth case study for Aarhus Municipality, resulting in an extension of the contract between Mercuri Urval and the municipality.
Emil joined EY in 2016 as a Junior Consultant in Advisory Services, where they provided consulting services to clients. Emil Wittrup was promoted to Consultant in 2017 and eventually became a Senior Consultant before leaving in September 2019.
From October 2019 to December 2021, Emil worked at Strategy& (part of the PwC network). Emil Wittrup started as a Senior Associate and later became a Manager responsible for strategy and business development.
Currently, Emil is the Head of Strategy & Business Development at Weld, a position they have held since December 2021.
Emil Wittrup Præstbrogaard pursued their education in a systematic manner. Emil Wittrup started by completing their high school education at Learnmark Horsens, where they obtained a degree in Business Administration (HHX) from 2007 to 2010.
Following this, Emil enrolled at Aarhus University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Business Administration (HA) from 2012 to 2015. Emil Wittrup then decided to further their knowledge and skills by pursuing a Master of Science degree in Finance and International Business at Aarhus University from 2015 to 2017.
Emil's dedication to continuous learning and experience led him to undertake a visiting student program at Harvard University in 2016, focusing on Economics and Finance.
In addition to their formal education, Emil acquired professional certifications to enhance their skill set. Emil Wittrup obtained the PRINCE2® Foundation Certification Training from AXELOS Global Best Practice in January 2019. More recently, Emil achieved the Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in March 2021.
Through pursuing higher education and obtaining relevant certifications, Emil Wittrup Præstbrogaard has demonstrated their commitment to gaining knowledge and staying up-to-date with industry practices.
