Derek Sayer

Derek Sayer is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in business development and sales within the industrial sector. Currently serving as the Business Development Manager for Eastern Canada at Welding Alloys Group since April 2020, Derek has previously held key positions including Territory Manager at Praxair from October 2013 to April 2020 and Technical Sales Representative at Voestalpine / Bohler Welding Group North America from January 2012 to September 2013. Derek's entrepreneurial spirit was demonstrated as the President/Owner of Sears Home Services from April 2008 to November 2011. Earlier in the career, Derek worked as District Manager at Victor Technologies International, Inc. and as Operations Manager/Buyer at Air Products / Xegas. Educationally, Derek holds a degree in Utility Systems Operator, Fuels, and Waste Water from Mohawk College, completed from 1994 to 1996.
