Laura Hagopian

Laura Hagopian, MD, FAWM, FACEP has extensive experience in the medical field. Laura is currently serving as the Senior Medical Director at Well, a health technology and services company. In this role, they utilize a proprietary AI-driven "health engine" to provide personalized health guidance to individuals and help employers improve employee health and engagement. Prior to their current position, Dr. Hagopian worked as a Medical Director at Buoy Health, where they contributed to the advancement of digital technology and machine learning in healthcare. Laura also served as a Physician Researcher at Buoy Health, focusing on providing real-time health information to empower individuals in making informed decisions. Dr. Hagopian has also held the position of Attending Emergency Medicine Physician at Lowell General Hospital, where they provided emergency medical care from 2014 to 2020. Laura gained valuable experience as an Emergency Medicine Resident at Boston Medical Center from 2010 to 2014. Additionally, Dr. Hagopian has a background in wilderness medicine and is a Fellow of the Academy of Wilderness Medicine through their involvement with the Wilderness Medicine Society. Early in their career, they worked as an Emergency Medical Technician at Easton EMS and as a Research Assistant at Lafayette College.

Laura Hagopian, MD, FAWM, FACEP obtained their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from UMass Chan Medical School from 2006 to 2010. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Chemistry at Lafayette College from 2002 to 2006. Additionally, they earned a certification as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-B) from Northampton Community College in 2003. Laura has also obtained various certifications such as Content Strategy for Professionals: Engaging Audiences and SQL for Data Science from Coursera. Laura holds certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Experienced Provider (ACLS), Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS), Certification in Emergency Medicine, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Wilderness Medicine from institutions like the American Heart Association, American Board of Emergency Medicine, and Wilderness Medical Society.
