Benny Prawira Siauw

Benny Prawira is currently a volunteer at the Ashmolean Museum and the Oxford University Museum of Natural History, engaged in educational activities concerning coins and fossils. As a Senior Fellow with Atlantic Fellows, Benny contributes to initiatives focused on mental health. Benny serves as a co-researcher and community engagement lead at the University of Manchester, leading projects aimed at sustainable mental health treatments in Indonesia and enhancing mental health literacy among young people. Benny is also involved with the International Lived Experience Advisory Panel at The University of British Columbia, providing guidance on mental health research equity in the Asia Pacific region. Benny's extensive experience includes founding Into The Light Indonesia, focusing on mental health advocacy and suicide prevention, and holding roles with Wellcome Trust and Ashoka. Benny holds a Master of Science in Social Health Psychology from Atma Jaya Catholic University and is pursuing further studies in Medical Anthropology at the University of Oxford.
