Luigi Martino

Luigi Martino is a Research Lead at Wellcome Trust, where Luigi manages the Trust's relationship with researchers funded through the Expert Review Group - Molecular Basis of Cell Function. Luigi is also the Science lead for the Wellcome Trust Multi User Equipment scheme and is involved in managing major investments such as Diamond Light Source and the European Bioinformatics Institute. Prior to their current role, Luigi worked at The Francis Crick Institute as a Postdoc, at GSK as a Visiting Research Scientist, at the Medical Research Council as an NIMR - Career Development Fellow, at King's College London as a Research Associate, and completed a PhD at the University of Naples Federico II.
