Shuranjeet Singh

Shuranjeet Singh is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in mental health and public health sectors. As the Founder and Director of Taraki since October 2017, Shuranjeet leads initiatives aimed at reshaping mental health approaches within Punjabi communities through awareness, education, application, and research. In addition, Shuranjeet serves as a Consultant for the Wellcome Trust, providing strategic insights across various projects involving academics, activists, and policymakers. Previous roles include Research Analyst at CAMH and Communities Coordinator at Historic England, complemented by research assistance at the University of Birmingham. Shuranjeet's academic credentials include a current DPhil in Primary Health Care at the University of Oxford and an MSc in Health Policy from the University of Toronto, among other degrees in relevant fields.
