Victoria Pelly

Victoria Pelly is a highly experienced researcher with a background in immunology and infection. Currently serving as a Senior Research Manager in Discovery Research at Wellcome Trust since March 2021, Victoria previously held the position of Science Portfolio Manager in Infection and Immunobiology at the University of Cambridge for a brief period in late 2020. Prior to these roles, Victoria worked as a Postdoctoral Scientist at Cancer Research UK Manchester Institute, focusing on tumour inflammation modulation and immune checkpoint therapies from September 2016 to September 2020, and as a Postdoctoral Research Assistant at The Francis Crick Institute, investigating type 2 immune responses from September 2011 to August 2016. Victoria earned a Ph.D. in Infection and Immunity from University College London between 2011 and 2015 and holds a BSc with Honours in Immunology from the University of Edinburgh.
