Heidi Johnson

Heidi Johnson is a seasoned leader in civic engagement and cultural education, currently serving as Program Director at the Hillary Rodham Clinton Center for Citizenship, Leadership, and Democracy and as Director of Civic Engagement at Wellesley College. As the founder of Purple Suitcase, Heidi emphasizes the importance of travel in developing global citizenship through cultural exploration. Additionally, Heidi established Culture Camp, an annual creative conference for educators that promotes diversity and understanding through various artistic expressions. With a background as Creative Director at City Year Inc. and experience as an architect at Ben Thompson + Associates, Heidi holds advanced degrees from institutions including the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
