Vinitha Gadiraju

Vinitha Gadiraju is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Wellesley College, where research focuses on the interactions of people with disabilities and generative AI technologies to understand their needs and improve technology for marginalized groups. Previously, Vinitha served as a Graduate Researcher at the University of Colorado Boulder, exploring collaborative educational tools for visually impaired children, and has held various teaching and research roles in human-computer interaction and software engineering. With experience as a research intern at Google and a graduate research fellow at ENAC, Vinitha has a strong background in ethical AI and accessibility. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Oregon.
