Mark Locraft has a diverse and extensive work experience in the culinary field. Mark currently serves as the Chief Culinary Officer at Wellfound Foods, a position they assumed in January 2023. Prior to this, they worked as an Executive Chef at the same company from January 2021 to January 2023.
Before joining Wellfound Foods, Mark was an Executive Chef at Healthy Fresh Meals from September 2018 to February 2020. Mark also held the role of Executive Chef at Food & Friends from September 2010 to March 2018.
Mark's earlier experience includes working as an Executive Sous Chef at The Cosmos Club, Washington DC, from September 2001 to August 2010. Mark served as a Sous Chef and Chef Tournant at Equinox Restaurant from May 1999 to August 2000.
Additionally, Mark worked as a Line Cook and Tournant at Galileo da Roberto Donna from May 1998 to January 1999. Mark began their culinary career at Mustards Grill, Inc. as an Externship while studying at the Culinary Institute of America from May 1997 to October 1997.
Mark Locraft attended The Culinary Institute of America from 1996 to 1998, where they obtained an Associate Degree in Culinary Arts. In terms of certifications, they received the ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification from the National Restaurant Association in 2010. Additionally, in December 2020, they obtained the Food Safety Manager certification from the Washington, DC Department of Health.
