João Barreira

João Barreira is a Senior Backend Software Engineer at Gympass, contributing to the Payout team focused on payment processes and automation for partners since January 2023. Prior to Gympass, João worked as a Backend Software Engineer at Fidel API, where responsibilities included building functionality for credit card transactions from major networks. João's experience at Talkdesk spanned from February 2020 to October 2022, serving as a Software Engineer III, II, I, and completing a Software Engineer Trainee program, along with a summer internship, during which development of an internal web application took place, utilizing technologies such as React, Kotlin, and Docker. João holds an Integrated Master's degree in Informatics Engineering from Universidade do Minho and completed high school at Escola Secundária Aurélia de Sousa with a focus on Sciences and Technologies.
