Gayan Dharmawardane

Gayan Dharmawardane is a seasoned security professional with extensive experience in application security and vulnerability management. Currently serving as a Senior Security Engineer at Wells Fargo since July 2023, Gayan specializes in Dynamic Application Security Testing, overseeing automated tests and managing vulnerabilities. Prior to this role, Gayan worked at FedEx from April 2018 to May 2023 as a Security Engineer and previously as a Cyber Security Analyst, focusing on vulnerability remediation and establishing continuous testing pipelines. Gayan's career also includes a position as a Security Analyst at the Teachers' Retirement System of the City of New York and as a Software Engineer at IFS. Gayan holds two Master of Science degrees in Information Security and Assurance, and Information Technology Management/Computer Science from George Mason University and Campbellsville University, respectively, along with a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from SLIIT.
