LeRoy Venzen III

Leroy Venzen III is the current Sr Executive Recruiter at Wells Fargo. LeRoy has been with the company since December of 2006 and has held various positions during their time there. Most recently, they have been the VP, Sr. Executive Recruiter - CIB, Asset Management, and FinTech. In this role, they are responsible for managing recruitment strategy for multiple critical/executive level openings, including candidate identification, assessment, development, hiring recommendations, and executive referrals. LeRoy also serves as the primary relationship manager in hiring for complex, higher level executive positions, managing candidate communication including negotiating terms, and conducting reference checks to encourage offer acceptance. Additionally, they develop executive recruitment strategies and processes by identifying and addressing senior level talent acquisition needs; proactively sources and cultivates diverse candidate pools. LeRoy provides expertise and insight to develop, design, and execute best practice internal and external executive search strategies for more complex, higher level executive positions. Venzen also understands and ensures adherence to all hiring policies; manages relationships with third-party search firms and other executive candidate referral services. LeRoy provides direction to Executive Recruiters and support staff as appropriate; lead a team based approach and lead the work of others on more complex assignments. Lastly, they partner effectively with senior HR Business Partners across multiple revenue and non-revenue functions providing position description support, search update reports, market intelligence, and thorough executive candidate evaluation (Internal & External).
