Kirby McDaniel

Kirby McDaniel has extensive work experience in various industries and roles. Starting in 1996, they worked as a Member of Scientific Staff at Nortel until 1998. From 1998 to 2003, they worked at Sprint PCS as a Manager of Program Management, overseeing large cross-functional development programs.

In 2003, Kirby joined The Sunflower Group as a Senior Director of New Product Movers, where they specialized in promotional sampling and managed in-store demonstrations for major consumer packaged goods firms.

From 2005 to 2007, Kirby worked as the Director of Operations at NetStandard, Inc., focusing on serving the IT and data hosting needs of small and medium-sized businesses.

In 2007, Kirby joined Hallmark Cards as an Innovation Leader, managing innovation product development initiatives and developing new business opportunities. They then became the Demand & Inventory Planning Manager for Hallmark's market support and fixtures.

Kirby joined Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City in 2011 and held various roles, including Director of Product Development and Department Vice President of Market Solutions. They were accountable for the strategy, financial results, and operational performance of different lines of business.

Since 2019, Kirby has been working at WellSky as a Vice President of Product and is currently the Senior Vice President of Applied Insights. They are responsible for product development, data science, engineering, and user experience for the applied analytics division.

Throughout their career, Kirby has demonstrated strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and expertise in product development, program management, and market solutions.

Kirby McDaniel has a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from William Jewell College, which they obtained from 1992 to 1994. Before that, they transferred from Grove City College during the 1990-1991 academic year. Kirby then pursued a Master of Science degree in Applied Math from Southern Methodist University, completing it from 1994 to 1996. Lastly, they obtained an MBA in Finance & Strategic Management from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, earning the degree from 2000 to 2003.
