Angela Odjidja Boateng

Angela Odjidja Boateng, JD, MHS, is currently serving as Associate General Counsel at WellSpan Health since February 2020. Prior to this role, Angela held positions as General Counsel and Regulatory Counsel for the Pennsylvania Medical Society from January 2014 to February 2020. Angela's experience includes serving as Branch Chief for Policy, Program Planning, and Coordination as well as Branch Chief of the Western Program Implementation Branch at the US Department of Health and Human Services from August 2010 to January 2014. Earlier in the career, Angela worked as Program Manager at The National Association of County and City Health Officials from February 2003 to August 2010, and as an Adjunct Instructor and Community Health Educator at Penn State University from July 2000 to June 2002. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from the University of Baltimore, along with two Master of Health Science degrees from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and The Johns Hopkins School of Hygiene and Public Health, and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Sociology from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
