Donna Fortson

Donna Fortson, MA, CRCR has a diverse range of experience in revenue cycle management. Donna currently holds the position of Vice President of Revenue Cycle at WellSpan Health, starting in August 2021. Prior to this role, Donna was the Principal Consultant at DF RevCycle Solutions, LLC, beginning in May 2019. Donna also served as the Interim VP of Revenue Cycle at SSM Health from May 2019 to August 2021.

Donna's previous experience includes serving as the Director of Revenue Cycle at Bon Secours Health System from June 2008 to March 2019, where they oversaw all aspects of the revenue cycle and achieved desired financial outcomes. Before that, they held the position of Assistant Director of Patient Financial Services/Payer and Denial Management at Adventist HealthCare from January 2006 to May 2008. Donna's career in revenue cycle management began at Lorien Health Services, where they held the role of Director of Managed Care Operations from November 1995 to January 2006.

Donna Fortson obtained a Master of Arts degree in Leadership and Management with a concentration in Health Care Administration from Notre Dame of Maryland University. Donna also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management with an emphasis in Human Resources from College of Notre Dame of Maryland.
