Matthew Simone

Matthew Simone has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Matthew is currently the Vice President of Performance Improvement at WellSpan Health. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Manager in the Healthcare Advisory Practice at Strategy&. From 2018 to 2020, they served as the Vice President of Performance Excellence at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals. Before that, they held positions at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi as the Senior Director of Continuous Improvement & Enterprise PMO, as well as the Acting Director of the Contact Center. Matthew also has experience as a Senior Project Manager at Cleveland Clinic, a Senior Continuous Improvement Manager at W.W. Grainger, Inc., and in various customer service and warehouse operations roles at McMaster-Carr. Matthew began their career in the SRMDP Rotational Program at Eaton Corporation.

Matthew Simone attended John Carroll University from 1995 to 1999, where they earned a BSBA degree in Business Logistics. Matthew later pursued an MBA degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations from Cleveland State University, which they completed from 2010 to 2012. In 2015 and 2016, Matthew attended the Harvard Business School for an Executive Program in Managing Healthcare Delivery.
