Andrew Guadarrama

Andrew Guadarrama has a diverse range of work experience in the field of information security and compliance. Starting with their role at Wellspring Worldwide as a Senior Information Security & Compliance Analyst, they led security audits and assessments, reviewed and updated security operating procedures, and provided areas of improvement to the organization's information security. Andrew also conducted information security management systems meetings and maintained compliance metrics.

In their subsequent role at the same company as an Information Security & Compliance Analyst, Andrew built a security framework to achieve FedRAMP Moderate authorization, maintained the system security plan and overall authorization package, and reviewed IT security measures to safeguard enterprise resources.

Andrew also worked as a Cybersecurity Exam Subject Matter Expert at CompTIA, where they participated in workshops and writing sessions to provide feedback on upcoming cybersecurity certification exams. Andrew provided insights on best practices and upcoming threats in the digital landscape.

During their time at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago, Andrew served as a Cybersecurity Risk and Compliance Analyst. Andrew analyzed and investigated internal and external log activity, created and automated monitoring activities, and validated critical rule changes.

Andrew Guadarrama obtained an Associate's Degree in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services from South Suburban College from 2013 to 2015. From 2021 to 2023, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance at Western Governors University. Additionally, in May 2022, they obtained a certification as a CompTIA Subject Matter Expert from CompTIA.
