Sian Jones

Sian Jones is an experienced safeguarding professional currently serving as the Safeguarding Manager at the Welsh Sports Association since January 2025. Sian previously held the position of Senior Safeguarding & Player Welfare Manager at the Football Association of Wales from April 2013 to January 2025, where responsibilities included strategic management of safeguarding and player welfare in Welsh football. Prior experience includes a role as Reach Out Assistant at Bridgend County Borough Council from September 2011 to April 2013, focusing on project support, community engagement, and event management related to the Rural Development Plan. Sian holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Swansea University and completed the UEFA Women in Football Leadership Programme in 2015.
