Jazmyne Shaw

Jazmyne Shaw has work experience in two different roles. From 2019, they worked as a Legal Account Resolution Specialist at Weltman, Weinberg & Reis Co., LPA. In this role, they communicated with consumers and their attorneys to negotiate payment arrangements, settlements, and discuss options to resolve accounts. Jazmyne also explained court procedures and how payment arrangements affected legal proceedings. Additionally, they maintained constant contact with local courts, banks, and employers to follow up on the status of garnishments and court proceedings.

From 2016 to 2018, Jazmyne served as a Peer Mentor at Ohio University. Jazmyne mentored five first-year school scholarship students through the Office of Multicultural Student Access & Retention. As a mentor, they scheduled progress meetings, study sessions, and social events to support and encourage the students.

Jazmyne Shaw attended Ohio University from 2015 to 2019, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. Additionally, during their time at Ohio University, they also obtained a Certificate in Political Communication.
