Shelly Bazes MS, RN, CNP is an experienced nursing leader currently serving as the Program Manager for Patient Acuity at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital since March 2024. With a robust background at Massachusetts General Hospital since January 1999 in various roles including RN (per diem), Quality Improvement Nurse Specialist, Nurse Practitioner Appointment, and Quality and Safety Measurement Nurse, Shelly has developed expertise in nursing quality and patient safety. Prior experience includes serving as Program Manager for Patient Acuity at Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital from September 2016 to January 2024 and as Quality Project Leader for Nursing Quality at Tufts Medical Center from August 2013 to September 2016. Shelly holds a Master’s degree in Family Nursing Practice from Columbia University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Hunter College, as well as several certifications in quality improvement and women’s healthcare from esteemed institutions.
