Courtney L. McKenna

Assistant Vice President for Strategy and Policy at Wentworth Institute of Technology

Courtney currently serves as Associate Vice President for Strategy and Policy where she has a range of responsibilities related to strategic planning, policy alignment and development, organizational development, and other innovative and collaborative initiatives across the institution and within the President’s Office.

Prior to joining Wentworth in 2019, Courtney was Director of Student Affairs and an adjunct faculty member at Quinnipiac University. She has over 15 years of experience at state land-grant, Ivy League, and medium-sized private universities. Her comprehensive portfolio includes academic advising, student involvement and leadership, program and curriculum development, prevention education, student conduct/Title IX, case management, and behavioral intervention/threat assessment.

Courtney is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies and French (cum laude, with Honors) and a master’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies: College Student Personnel. She is currently working toward her Ph.D. in Organizational Development at Cabrini University.
