David Licht

David Licht is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in portfolio management and investment strategies. Currently serving as the Head of Portfolio Strategies at APG since March 2018, Licht previously held the position of Co-Head of Leverage Finance at First State Investments from November 2016 to March 2018. Earlier in the career, Licht worked as a Senior Analyst at Avenue Capital Group, focusing on distressed debt and private equity, and as a Senior Portfolio Manager at APG, specializing in high yield, bank debt, and corporate debt. Additionally, Licht served as an Associate in Investment Banking at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and began the career as a CPA at Arthur Andersen & Co. Licht holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from the University of Michigan, obtained in 1996.
