Raquel Bryant

Raquel Bryant is an experienced academic in the field of Geoscience, currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Wesleyan University since July 2022. Prior to this role, Raquel held a Postdoctoral Research Associate position at Texas A&M University from September 2020 to September 2022 and was an NSF Graduate Research Fellow at the University of Massachusetts Amherst from September 2017 to September 2020. Additional experience includes serving as a Teaching Associate at Smith College and an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Brown University, focusing on geochemical analysis. Raquel's earlier roles include internships at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography and the Smithsonian Institution, as well as a position as a Science Camp Counselor at The Children's Museum. Raquel holds a Ph.D. in Geoscience from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a BA in Geology/Biology from Brown University.
