Rosemary Ostfeld

Rosemary Ostfeld, PhD, is the Founder and CEO of Healthy PlanEat, an online farmers market established in January 2016 that connects sustainable farmers and food artisans with local customers. Currently serving as a Fellow at The Explorers Club and an Assistant Professor of the Practice at Wesleyan University since September 2018, Rosemary teaches courses focused on sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, environmental studies, and social entrepreneurship. Additionally, Rosemary has held roles as a Visiting Assistant Professor and Consultant at the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership, where significant contributions included recruiting signatories for the COP 21 Paris Pledge for Action and developing educational materials. Research experience includes positions at the University of Cambridge, studying renewable energy technology and climate policy, and serving as a National Geographic Explorer in 2015. Educational credentials include a PhD and MPhil in Land Economy and Environmental Policy from the University of Cambridge, as well as an MA and BA in Earth & Environmental Sciences and Biology from Wesleyan University.
