Linda Coleman

Linda Coleman originally joined Wessex Archaeology as an illustrator right back in 1989 and worked on a variety of projects from popular booklets and display panels to publications and client reports. In 2014 she was appointed Quality and Production Manager which has ultimately led to her current role as Quality Director for the organization.

In this leadership role, it is her responsibility to embed a quality approach into the heart of everything they do as an organization and ensure it aligns with their strategy and objectives. She reports on the performance of their quality management systems to the Senior Management Team and works with them to communicate and demonstrate the importance of maintaining standards throughout the organization and ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.

Wessex Archaeology was awarded ISO 9001 certification in March 2015. This is the international standard that specifies requirements for a quality management system and demonstrates an ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements.

Linda is motivated by wanting to bring about positive, sustainable change; whether small working process transformations or broader, cultural approaches to help drive the business forward.

In her spare time, she enjoys gardening and visiting historic sites and houses.
