Dion Smith

Dion Smith is a skilled Marriage and Family Therapist - Intern at West Angeles Church since November 2012, focusing on various mental health services including anger management, anxiety treatments, and therapy for couples and families. Prior experience includes roles as a Teacher/Mentor/Tutor at Educating Young Minds, as well as positions in marriage and family therapy with Single Parents of Power and as a volunteer at Community Day School - LAUSD, where counseling services were provided to at-risk youth. Additionally, Dion owned and operated The Extraordinary Place Child Care and held financial roles at Thomson Elite and Universal Studios. Dion holds a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from National University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and History from Claremont McKenna College.
