Jared Vegrzyn

Jared Vegrzyn is a Staff Engineer at WEST Consultants, Inc. since June 2020, specializing in the analysis of hydrology, hydraulics, and river geomorphology through advanced computer modeling tools and programming languages. Prior experience includes serving as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, assisting in Water Resources courses, and working as a Student Contractor at the U.S. Geological Survey, where river hydraulics were modeled using HEC-RAS and data analyzed with Python and R. Earlier experience involved data analysis as a Student Researcher at the Illinois State Geological Survey and project documentation as an Engineering Intern at Engineering Enterprises, Inc. Jared holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
