Chelsea Wauson has held various roles throughout their work experience. From January 2006 to September 2007, they worked as an Enforcement Attorney at Texas Real Estate Commission, where they reviewed applications and complaints against real estate agents and represented the Commission in hearings. Since September 2007, they have been with West Gulf Maritime Association, initially serving as the Vice President of Labor Relations and then transitioning to the role of Senior Vice President from August 2020. In their role at the association, they conducted contract negotiations, supervised staff responsible for training and drug testing, processed union grievances, and represented members in EEOC and NLRB charges and mediations.
Chelsea Wauson has a strong educational background in law and politics. Chelsea attended Texas Lutheran University from 1998 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Government - Pre Law. Following their undergraduate studies, Chelsea pursued further education at the University of Texas at Austin School of Law from 2002 to 2004. There, they obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree. In addition to their formal degrees, Chelsea also holds a JD certification from the State Bar of Texas.
