Head Of Museum Security at West Kowloon Cultural District Authority

David Poon, CPP has over 35 years of work experience in various roles related to security and law enforcement. David is currently the Head of Museum Security at the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority since March 2020. Before that, they served as the Chief Superintendent of Police (Auxiliary) at the Hong Kong Police Force, where they were responsible for managing and overseeing the training, discipline, and deployment of Auxiliary police officers.

David has also worked at Hang Seng Bank and Hang Seng Security Management Limited as the Head of Security and Fraud Risk and Director, respectively, from September 2010 to January 2019. Prior to that, they were the Off Course Security Manager at The Hong Kong Jockey Club from February 2009 to September 2010. David's experience also includes serving as the Director of Security at MGM Grand Macau from December 2006 to November 2008.

David Poon, CPP pursued their undergraduate education from 2003 to 2006 at Hong Kong Metropolitan University. During this time, they obtained a BSocSc (Hons) degree, specializing in Law Enforcement and Security Management.
