Jonas Chau

Jonas Chau has over two decades of experience in administration, governance, and research, currently serving as the Head of Administration, Governance and Planning at the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority since November 2010. In this role, Jonas leads strategic and business planning, providing evidence-based policy recommendations to senior leadership and conducting research to support decision-making and business development. Prior to this position, Jonas held various roles at Civic Exchange and Innofoco, focusing on independent research and design. Additional experience includes research management at the Hong Kong Design Centre, research associate work at the Business Environment Council, and architectural roles in Shanghai and London. Educational qualifications include an Advanced Cultural Leadership Programme from The University of Hong Kong and a Master's in Cultural Management from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, alongside a Master's in Architecture from The University of Edinburgh.
