Steven has held positions such as Chief Information Security Officer, Director of Information Technology Services, and Network Administrator. Steven is currently serving as the Director of Information Technology & Cybersecurity at the West Ohio Conference of The United Methodist Church. Steven also has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration.

The West Ohio Conference is the ministry office for The United Methodist Church in 58 counties of Ohio, in ministry with nearly 200,000 members, 1,200 local United Methodist congregations, 8 satellite offices, 3 camping and retreat centers, and multiple community centers and missions sites in Ohio and globally.
