Charlie Maynard

Charlie Maynard has a diverse background in public service and leadership. Since July 2024, Charlie serves as the Member of Parliament for the Witney constituency in the House of Commons. Concurrently, since May 2022, Charlie has held the position of West Oxfordshire District Councillor for Standlake, Aston and Stanton Harcourt. Previously, from December 2022 to July 2024, Charlie was the Liberal Democrat parliamentary candidate for Witney and, from October 2020 to July 2024, the Chair of the Witney Oxford Transport Group. Before entering public office, Charlie co-founded BDA Partners in September 1996, serving as Chair and Managing Partner until December 2022. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Geography from the University of Oxford, completed between 1990 and 1993.
