Marcus Tang

Marcus Tang has over 20 years of work experience in various operations and manufacturing roles. Marcus most recently served as the Senior Operations Director at West Pharmaceutical Services since November 2017. Prior to that, they worked as the Operations Director at Qioptiq, An Excelitas Technologies Company from May 2014 to November 2017. Marcus also has experience as the Production & CIM Director at REC from February 2012 to December 2013, and as the Operations Director at Kimberly-Clark from July 2008 to February 2012. Marcus began their career at Applied Biosystems, where they worked as a Senior Manager in Manufacturing/Engineering from July 1997 to July 2008.

Marcus Tang earned a Masters of Science degree in Bioinformatics from Nanyang Technological University Singapore from 2004 to 2006. Previously, they obtained a Masters of Science degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering from the National University of Singapore, which they completed from 1996 to 1999. Marcus Tang also holds a Six Sigma Black Belt certification from APPLIED BIOSYSTEMS.
